Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We want you to be confident in choosing MyPhoneGenie. All paid plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the service within the first 30 days after your first paid billing date, you can request a prorated refund.

How Refunds Are Calculated

Refunds are prorated based on the percentage of your included voice minutes that remain unused.

60 unused minutes out of 100 = 60% of your subscription fee refunded.

Refund Eligibility

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of your first paid billing date.
  • Refunds are not available after the 30-day window has passed.
  • Only your subscription fee is eligible for refund. Overage charges for minutes used beyond your plan are not refundable.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Phone number fees: The $1.15/month phone number provisioning fee is non-refundable once a number has been assigned to your account.
  • Overage charges: Charges for minutes used beyond your plan allowance are not refundable.

Free Trial

If you cancel during your 7-day free trial, you will not be charged at all. No credit card is required during your free trial. Payment information is collected only when you choose to activate a paid plan. If you do not activate your account after the trial ends, your account pauses and no charge is made.

How to Request a Refund

  • Email: Send your refund request to support@myphonegenie.com with your account email and reason for the request.
  • Dashboard: Use the "Request Refund" option in your account settings.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 1 business day.

Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at signup. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.

Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancelling your account and requesting a refund are separate actions:

  • Cancellation stops future billing. Your service continues through the end of your current billing period.
  • Refund returns a prorated portion of your current billing period payment, subject to the terms above.

You may cancel without requesting a refund, or request a refund as part of your cancellation. Both options are available through your dashboard or by contacting support.
